Fees and
conditions Fees All fees are inclusive of full day care,
food between 7.45am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, and all disposables
(nappies, materials etc).
Strawberry
Hill Nursery offers parents the opportunity to send their child for any
combination of sessions (a session being a morning (7.45am – 12.45am) or
afternoon (1.15pm – 6.00pm). The over 2½ rate applies from the 1st
of the month following month the child turns 2½. A minimum of 3 sessions per
week must be booked. Fees
are payable on the 1st of the month in advance on an annualised basis by standing order only. This means
that the bill each month is the same regardless of whether there are four or
five weeks in any given month. The fees take into account the days we are
closed i.e. three bank holidays around New Year. Monthly fee = Weekly fee
(from the above table) X 52/12. Any extra hours will be billed monthly in
arrears. These are from 1.00pm for a child attending a morning session where
an extra hour is required but not a full afternoon session. Unbooked hours, hours after 6.00pm or part thereof, are
charged at £20.00 per hour. This is to cover compulsory overtime for the
required minimum of 2 staff that the lateness would have necessitated. Fees
for child pick-up, trips, ballet, swimming, hairdressing and other occasional
expenses are additional and will also be billed in arrears. A
registration fee of £30 is payable with all registrations. A £100
deposit for a full time and £50 for a part time place is payable on
acceptance of an offered position. This is refunded when your child leaves. Children
may not be left after 7.00pm as this contravenes registration and insurance.
In the event that it occurs, an additional flat fee of £30 will be incurred
on top of the hourly rate. Late
payment charges of £25 per month will be levied on any accounts paid
consistently late unless agreed by prior arrangement. Discounts If a
sibling of an existing child joins the nursery, a discount of 10% is given of
the older child’s fees. The discount only relates to hours where both
children are in attendance. Regrettably
there is no discount for sickness or holidays Grant Funding from Local
Authority Strawberry Hill Nursery is a partnership
provider with Edinburgh City Council for children aged 3 and above. As a partnership nursery, we are able to
provide assisted places to children aged 3 to 5 years. Further advice is
available on this from the nursery manager. As soon as the grant monies are received
from the local authority, the nursery forwards these monies to the first
named parent on the Nursery Registration Form. *Subject
to increase on an annual basis in the month of September. Notice will be
given prior to any changes in fees. |
